Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Philadelphia, PA)

Greenridge Birch Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Philadelphia area. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
