Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Oklahoma City, OK)

Bluepeak Pike Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Oklahoma City. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about claims into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
