Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Minneapolis, MN)

Foxglove Willow Insurance Partners provides coverage to households and businesses around Minneapolis, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 134 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about claims into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
