Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Las Vegas, NV)

Summit Loom Insurance is an insurance company in Las Vegas with claims and service teams, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about policy renewals into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with policy renewals. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Las Vegas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
