Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Kansas City, MO)

Westbrook Ivory Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Kansas City, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 85 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about service installations into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
