Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Kansas City, MO)

Northwind Harbor Telecom is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
