Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Kansas City, MO)

Silverline Kestrel Insurance Partners is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about underwriting files into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
