Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Lumen Thistle Medical and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
