Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Houston, TX)

Stonegate Bridge Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Houston area, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about outage reports into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
