Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Glen Care Services Group provides in-home and community support in Houston, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. You would join a large organisation of about 960 people based in Houston. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with care plans. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
