Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Bright Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on mobile experience. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
