Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Forge Energy and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about outage response into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
