Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Cleveland, OH)

We are growing our team at Redstone Lantern Learning Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
