Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Cleveland, OH)

Bright North Early Learning is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for tuition and subsidies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 674 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about tuition and subsidies into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with tuition and subsidies.
