Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Cleveland, OH)

Lumen Loom Insurance is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on mobile experience for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about claims into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
