Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Kestrel Learning Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be mobile experience. Families are partners. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
