Senior Software Engineer - mobile experience (Austin, TX)

Ironwood Cedar Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Austin area, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our mobile experience. We invest in training. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about outage reports into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
