Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Tucson, AZ)

We are growing our team at Amberfield River Community Partners and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about donor records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
