Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (St. Louis, MO)

Redstone Meridian Telecom is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Turn requests about network equipment into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
