Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Seattle, WA)

Greenridge Field Community Partners Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
