Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Rochester, NY)

Bright Pike Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
