Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Richmond, VA)

Amberfield Glen Health Partners is a healthcare provider in Richmond with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on internal tools. Clinicians and administrators work side by side. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about electronic records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with electronic records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
