Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Reno, NV)

Foxglove Junction Medical is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about device records into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with device records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
