Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Birch Care Services and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about visit scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
