Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Timber Medical and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory submissions. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • We reply to every applicant.
