Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Clearpath Union Health Group provides primary and specialty care in Colorado Springs. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on internal tools. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about insurance authorisations into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with insurance authorisations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
