Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Clearpath Granite Community Partners is a nonprofit in Fort Worth supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about benefits enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
