Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Basin Care Services Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 104 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about licensing into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
