Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Harborlight Maple Medical is a Fort Worth company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about clinical evaluations into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with clinical evaluations. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
