Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Ironwood Meadow Pharma is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for release testing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Turn requests about release testing into simple, maintainable software. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with release testing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
