Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

We are growing our team at Lumen Wren Legal Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 904 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about court deadlines into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
