Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (remote)

Westbrook Kestrel Community Partners is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for donor records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about donor records into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
