Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Providence, RI)

Silverline Beacon Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Providence. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Providence. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
