Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Philadelphia, PA)

Fernwood Juniper Care Services supports families and individuals in Philadelphia with personal care and coordination. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on internal tools. The work is personal and so is the culture. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Turn requests about care plans into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with care plans. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
