Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Orlando, FL)

Clearpath Junction Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Orlando area. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Turn requests about billing accounts into simple, maintainable software. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Orlando. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
