Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Nashville, TN)

Bluepeak Quarry Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Turn requests about route schedules into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
