Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Memphis, TN)

Silverline Field Community Partners is a Memphis charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on internal tools. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Turn requests about donor records into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
