Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Vista Community Partners Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about benefits enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Experience with benefits enrolment. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
