Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Kansas City, MO)

Northwind Haven Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Kansas City, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Turn requests about enrolment into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
