Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Silverline Corner Medical Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 633 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with production lots. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
