Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Sable Community Partners and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with food distribution. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
