Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Wren Care Services Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a large organisation of about 672 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about licensing into simple, maintainable software. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with licensing. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
