Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Grand Rapids, MI)

Cedar Clear Health provides primary and specialty care in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to take on internal tools. Continuing education is supported. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about patient scheduling into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
