Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Grand Rapids, MI)

Cedar Clear Health is a healthcare provider in Grand Rapids with clinics and support teams, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about clinic supplies into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Two or more years of professional software development. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with clinic supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
