Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Fort Worth, TX)

Stonegate Sable Water Authority Group operates treatment plants and pipelines around Fort Worth, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Turn requests about capital projects into simple, maintainable software. What we are looking for • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. Nice to have • Experience with capital projects. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
