Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Fort Worth, TX)

We are growing our team at Bright Glen Care Services and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. Teams support each other, especially on hard days. What you will do • Turn requests about visit scheduling into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. Nice to have • Experience with visit scheduling. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
