Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Northwind Timber Learning Group and adding a Senior Software Engineer whose main responsibility will be internal tools. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Turn requests about learning materials into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
