Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Colorado Springs, CO)

Rivermark Sparrow Energy is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. The job centres on internal tools for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 403 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about outage response into simple, maintainable software. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. What we are looking for • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. Nice to have • Cloud deployment experience. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
