Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Cleveland, OH)

Clearpath Bright Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Cleveland, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Turn requests about treatment plant data into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Review teammates' code and share what you learn. • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
