Senior Software Engineer - internal tools (Cleveland, OH)

Foxglove Meadow Medical designs and makes medical devices in Cleveland, and we need a Senior Software Engineer to lead our internal tools. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Build and maintain web features used every day by our staff and customers. • Turn requests about regulatory submissions into simple, maintainable software. • Improve monitoring so we hear about problems before customers do. • Integrate our systems with vendors and partners through APIs. • Fix bugs quickly and add tests so they stay fixed. What we are looking for • Comfort with SQL and a relational database. • Two or more years of professional software development. • Proficiency in a mainstream language such as TypeScript, Python, Java or C#. • Care about security and privacy of the data we hold. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory submissions. • Cloud deployment experience. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
